this morning #1122.

this morning, as we were getting ready for work, our bedroom window cracked right down the center. seemingly for no reason. it shattered straight away. millions of pieces gave way to gravity. until the glass hit the floor, there was very little sound. i only saw it happen because i’d turned around just as the crack began to form. it was odd. shook me. she was in the shower so she didn’t hear a thing, had no idea that our bedroom was now exposed to the elements. she’d know soon enough though. she’d soon be asking “what the fuck just happened?” i was wondering the same thing, so i inched closer to inspect. as i neared, i looked to my left just in time to see the other window splinter.
