this morning #1079.
this morning, we were tree climbin’. hidin’ in the branches high above the still of the lake. sunshine poking through the leaves. silly giggling. keeping quiet any time that any soul came strolling down the path. i love her laugh. when she truly laughs, she truly laughs. it’s goofy but steady. if you manage to bring it out of her, you know it’s for real. her beautiful teeth. she doesn’t waste joy on just anything. that fact keeps me going. with each & every laugh i manage to extract, i’m convinced that she should be my girlfriend. i don’t see why not. we spend all this time together anyhow. maybe this summer, something will happen. if we keep hanging out in trees like this, something is bound to.
