this morning #1077.

this morning, while they’re all out there shouting from rooftops, praying for the rain to come & wash their sins away, i need these skies to stay clear. i have places to be, movements to make. we can’t have weather getting in the way. rain would inevitably muddy the dirt & i’ve already been hurt over & over by all these delays. let them pray away. pray as they may for their rain. may god side with me this time though. make it my day just this once. let me take this next step forward toward clarity. once that’s happened, i’ll take it from there. no more need for his godly guidance. he can focus his energy on the rest of society. lord knows that, overall, they need his help much more than i do.
