this morning #1012.

this morning, by making it my mission to smile at every single person i pass, i attracted the attention of this woman who, if i’m being honest, i wish that i’d passed on by without looking in the eye. she smiled right back & asked how my day was going. when i tried to keep on walking, she turned & followed me, continued inquiring about my day. she was persistence personified. up until this point, my day had actually been going quite well. the sun was shining. i’d been getting good vibes from everyone i smiled at. this woman did not give off good vibes though. under most circumstances, i craved the feeling of human connection. this human connection was much more than i could handle right now.
